Artificial intelligence (AI) marketing is paving the way for the future of marketing and business transformation, yet many organizations struggle to know exactly how and where to integrate it. With AI forecasted to boost global GDP by 14% by 2030, an efficient and sustainable AI marketing strategy is now essential to avoid losing the competitive edge.

Using Artificial Intelligence in Marketing, published in February 2019 by Kogan Page, provides the definitive, practical framework needed for marketers to identify, apply and embrace the opportunity to maximize the results and business advancement that AI can bring. Streamlining efficiencies into every business practice, AI automates simpler, repetitive tasks with unrivalled accuracy, allowing sales and marketing teams to return their attention to where human interaction is most valuable: strategy, creativity and personal connection.

This book outlines key marketing benefits such as accurate market research samples, immediate big data insights and brand-safe content creation, right through to the on-demand customer service that is now expected 24/7. It also explores the inevitable myths, concerns and ethical questions that can arise from the large-scale adoption of AI. It is an essential read for every 21st century marketer.

Less than one year after its publication, the book was listed as a resource in the 'Brand Strategy' module of the World Economic Forum's Empowering AI Leadership toolkit for corporate boards.

The Using Artificial Intelligence in Marketing

Book Launch Event

On 5 March, 2019, we celebrated the release of Using Artificial Intelligence in Marketing with a launch event in London at M Victoria Street sponsored by This Week in FM, OMNI42, Street Soccer Foundation, IBM Power Systems, and Kogan Page. The book's contributors, key figures in business and AI, media, family, friends, and colleagues mingled over drinks and canapes while enjoying keynotes from Katie and some special guests.

Helen Kogan, the Managing Director of the book's publisher Kogan Page, opened the event before handing things over to Katie for a brief keynote on some of the book's key subjects. David Spurway, CTO of IBM Power Systems, was the next to share his insights. CEO & Founder of Street Soccer Foundation, Keith Mabbutt, closed out this portion of the night with a powerful keynote on the importance of bringing in a human element.

The event was live streamed globally via YouTube, allowing those around the world to celebrate the book's release and hear from the speakers. Those in attendance in London had the opportunity to purchase a book at the event and have it signed by Katie.

Overall, the launch was a great success and we extend our sincerest thanks to those who sponsored, spoke, and attended both in person and virtually!
